[Auto/Moto] The flying car again: Alef Aeronautics will fly in 2025

hen we imagined the future, we certainly thought of the idea of "flying cars": even if we haven't arrived at this type of technology yet, we continue to talk more and more about flying cars, and now it's the turn of Alef Aeronautics , start-up that recently announced the development of a prototype capable of taking off like a helicopter.

Even if the news is nothing new - remember the dozens of announcements that have occurred in recent years - the timing is interesting, given that Alef Aeronautics intends to bring the car out for purchase in 2025 , less than three years.

The price will be around $300,000 , and pre-sales are now open (a deposit of $150 is enough to end up on the waiting list, but if you spend $1,500 you will have priority). This car will be able to travel 322 kilometers on one charge.

Alef Aeronautics CEO, Jim Dukhovny , explained that the intention is to create a car that will mainly stand with its wheels on the asphalt, but which will be able to take off for short distances when necessary
