-_-Moltres-_- Posted December 4, 2022 Posted December 4, 2022 Nissan Nismo CEO Takao Katagiri has confirmed that a new model is on the way, going on sale in the UK, Europe and the US (although of course Japan first). The car, which will be released in the decade, will be a new car that will in all likelihood become the successor to the GTR, although it could be a hybrid. Recall that the Nissan GT-R was discontinued in early 2022, after 13 years, and now the new car should take its place and bring the Nismo division back to work. Although company executives have stated that any high-performance electric vehicle should have solid-state batteries, West Midlands Gigafactory strategic boss Richard Moore explained that it would take another 10 years for these types of cars to become mainstream. https://www.automoto.it/elettrico/auto-ibride/arriva-l-erede-della-nissan-gtr-ibrida-e-nismo.html
