[Auto/Moto] The Ferrari Vision Gran Turismo goes further in every sense: 1,356 HP [VIDEO]

For the first time in its history, the Maranello company has pushed the collaboration with Gran Turismo 7 to the maximum of reality, realizing a concept that will be available within the videogame on December 23rd.

A futuristic single-seater that sports an even more extreme version of the V6 engine used in the 296 GTB, 296 GTS and 296 GT3 and also featured in the new Ferrari 499P hypercar, which will be fielded at Le Mans next year. Ferrari won the famous endurance race nine times between 1949 and 1965 and the return to endurance racing is awaited by all with high expectations.

The Vision GT was born on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the most famous video game created by the legendary  Kazunori Yamauchi and will certainly be one of the most requested cars by gamers. The result, from a design point of view, is simply jaw-dropping. Flavio Manzoni, Ferrari Design Director, said that: " The collaboration with Gran Turismo represented the possibility of giving life to a unique project, developed within the Advanced Design departmentof our Style Center. We wanted to create a vision of the future that was designed without constraints, but born from Ferrari's unrivaled knowledge of engineering, aerodynamics and future technologies, and bring it into the digital world for an entirely new audience to experience ."

 

The project takes great account of aerodynamics , as it is in Ferrari's DNA : the rear wing, the extractor and the air intakes on the wheel arches are carefully studied to ensure the greatest possible aerodynamic load to govern an impressive 1,356 HP power from the 3-liter V6 hybrid engine flanked by three electric motors. The close collaboration between Ferrari and Gran Turismo ensured that the extraordinary sound  of this innovative engine was reproduced as faithfully as possible, thus providing players from all over the world with the most realistic driving experience.

It already promises to be an extraordinary success among Gran Turismo 7  fans ; the model, as mentioned, will be available to all players from 23 December this year, but the "real" version will find its place, together with other One-Off cars, at the Ferrari Museum in Maranello as early as 15 December. Starting today, a quiz associated with the launch of the video game will allow a winner to race with the Vision GT as early as December 15th
