Buying a milk sachet is something every day, especially in those houses with small children and in large families, it is necessary to buy more than one. The 120-odd pesos that must be paid for second-brand products comes hand in hand with the good fortune of finding them in the refrigerator, going to the supermarket early and with the already installed "two per person" conditioning factor. Quite a complication.

So, you have to buy milk from La Serenissima, these days, the price went from 147 to 182 and up to 199, depending on the area, the trade and those issues that are handled, with a clear detriment to the consumer.

We have already mentioned that the market is supplied with the so-called "percentage" sachets, which have a presumed lower food quality, in that business commitment to lowering the price of the product. Undoubtedly, a wake-up call, since milk is essential, the "most basic" of the basic basket.

This week, the El Argentino price survey took place in stores belonging to the Día%, Coto and Carrefour Exprés chains in the town of Temperley, in the southern area of Greater Buenos Aires, plus the neighborhoods of La Boca and Parque Chacabuco.

And an image that is repeated is the “missing” of Cañuelas brand oils, Arcor tomato purée and packets of sugar that are not from Ledesma, which is also offered in its Premium modality, the refined and more expensive one.

Also that in each weekly tour these price increases are observed, without the slightest control. So, the noodles went from 137 to almost 190 in some cases, the yerba continued to rise and to buy half a kilo you have to pay from 390 to 460 pesos, among other unpleasant "surprises" for the consumer.

The Care Prices thing, not because it is repetitive, ceases to be worrying. Little offer in the gondolas of those products with values agreed between the national government and the companies. While there is talk of a relaunch, more attention will have to be paid to making the plan a reality in the commercial chain.
