Inkriql
During September, Jeep made a major electrification announcement, with four models propelling the off-road specialist brand into the electrified era. One of these models is the Avenger, a 100% new small SUV that will be manufactured in Poland (Tychy) for the European market. The announcement was not very extensive and hopefully we were able to see some images of the model. Of course, Jeep was saving it for the Paris Motor Show, where the Avenger has been fully revealed, including images of the interior and more technical specifications of its engines, including the news that it will also use a thermal engine in some markets, such as for try to help him in his overcrowding. “The Jeep Avenger represents a fundamental milestone for the brand, as it is the first of a new range of electric Jeep models to be marketed in Europe”, says Christian Meunier, CEO of Jeep, who goes on to say: “It offers all the benefits of the Jeep brand adapted to the European market and, at the Paris Motor Show, we are showing why this electric Jeep is an excellent alternative to B-segment SUVs from Jeep has not mentioned all the measurements of the Avenger, except the length, 4.08 meters. Relative to the Renegade, it is 16 centimeters shorter and 13 centimeters lower, with trimmed overhangs that not only improve its proportions, but also help it achieve approach angles of 20 degrees front, 20 degrees belly and 32 degrees in the rear, which is important for going off-road, but also convenient in the city (ditches, access ramps, parking lots, etc.). To this is added its clearance of 200 mm. It is worth remembering that the Avenger launches the STLA Small platform, derived from the eCMP from PSA, the same used by the Peugeot e-2008, the Opel Mokka-e and the DS 3 E-Tense. Jeep Avenger Design On the design side, the idea is to combine the most traditional elements of Jeep, but in a compact and urban format. This is very noticeable in the grille of the "seven slots" that now go to a shorter format, as we have seen in the newest models of the brand. In this "module" of black color, the main lights with a smoked appearance also appear. Other details that are part of the Jeep style, we find them in its black floating roof, the more marked wheel arches and the rear lights with the X graphic, which we saw debut in the Renegade and that are a nod to the drums of fuel that the Willys used to carry. Plastic protections also abound throughout the lower area of the vehicle. As a modern touch, the rear door handles have been moved into the rear window frame, seeking to hide them. A detail that is typical of Stellantis models are the rear-view mirrors, the same as those that debuted with the Peugeot 208 and that today are used in practically all CMP platform cars: a good way to identify their genes. The wheels are 18" with a two-tone look, at least for the launch version. 2023 Jeep Avenger - interior and equipment https://noticias.autocosmos.com.ar/2022/10/17/jeep-estrena-al-avenger-y-confirma-versiones-a-combustion
