[Politics] Cartagena, underwater: several sectors of the city are flooded

The Mayor's Office of Cartagena declared a public calamity in the face of the critical situation in various parts of the city as a result of the second rainy season, which afflicts the entire country, and especially the Colombian Caribbean.

The declaration was made in an Extraordinary Risk Management Council, advanced in the Customs Palace, to have resources and take actions in the 27 sectors flooded in the last hours.

The Mayor's Office delivered humanitarian assistance to all the families settled in the Zenú de Membrillal Indigenous Council who are cut off from communication due to the flooding of the access road to that community.
