  • Other Information:Alessandro Lindblad (Stockholm, July 7, 1991) better known by his stage name Alesso is a Swedish electronic dance music DJ and record producer. He has worked with numerous EDM artists (and others), including Avicii, OneRepublic, Calvin Harris, Usher, David Guetta, and Sebastian Ingrosso. He has also performed at numerous music festivals including Coachella, Electric Daisy Carnival and Tomorrowland. In 2012, MTV called Alesso an "EDM Rookie to Watch", and Madonna invited him to open her MDNA Tour dates, and called Alesso "the next big thing in dance music." In 2014, he was ranked 15th on DJ Magazine's Top 100 DJs list. His debut album, Forever, was released on May 22, 2015 by Def Jam.
  • Specializing in progressive house, Alesso achieved worldwide attention and po[CENSORED]rity in 2011, with wide support from his original productions and remixes from the likes of Avicii, Swedish House Mafia, Tiësto, Sander van Doorn, Kaskade and other successful DJ's. His remix of "Pressure" was one of the most played EDM songs of 2011. He made his debut on DJ Mag's Top 100 DJ list in 2011, taking the 70th spot. Being one of the hottest artists of 2011, MTV enshrined him as the artist to see EDM in 2012.[8] On March 24, 2012, Alesso debuted for the first time on BBC Radio 1's Essential Mix. Alesso was ranked at number 20 on DJ Magazine's Top 100 DJs list in 2012. In 2013 he was ranked 13th in the same ranking. Alesso's current hits include "Years" featuring Matthew Koma, "Calling (Lose My Mind)" featuring Ryan Tedder and Sebastian Ingrosso, "Under Control" featuring Calvin Harris and Hurts, and "Heroes (We Could Be)" featuring the participation of Tove Lo. In February 2015, Alesso released his new single "Cool" featuring Roy English, which samples pop star Kylie Minogue's "Get Outta My Way". The song was released worldwide on February 16th, with the exception of North America (February 17th), UK and Ireland (April 26th) and Germany (May 8th). In 2017 he released the song Is That For Me his first musical partnership with Brazilian singer Anitta.
