Before starting the production of this small electric minivan capable of extending its autonomy thanks to solar energy, Sono Motors unveils the final design. The small German manufacturer says it has refined the look of the vehicle to make it more attractive than the first versions shown. In concrete terms, the standard Sono Sion features new headlights and taillights, new door handles, a slightly redesigned profile, and even a tapered rear face. The charging hatch located in the middle of the front panel is also new. Sono Motors is also making a few changes to the interior of the Sion before starting production. According to the manufacturer, the interior of the small electric minivan is more spacious. It would thus offer more storage space, while its seats and rear bench seat adopt a new design. The steering wheel is also different, as is the center console. The atmosphere clearly seems less cheap than in the first images published. As a reminder, the body of the Sono Sion contains solar panels made up of 456 half-cells. These photovoltaic panels generate energy that allows you to gain 112 kilometers of autonomy per week according to the manufacturer, or even 245 in the sunniest regions. In case of bad weather, the Sion can still drive thanks to its 54 kWh battery which provides it with a basic range of 305 kilometres.
