The Dongfeng DF6 is the fourth sister of the Nissan Navara, along with the Renault Alaskan and the ill-fated Mercedes-Benz X-Class. Known as the Rich 6 in other markets, the DF6 is a cheaper and more accessible version of these trucks, but allowing Dongfeng can have a much more modern model and closer to its rivals. This is noticeable in its old 138 Hp 2.5 Turbodiesel engine and its rear axle with leaf springs, instead of the 2.3 engines and independent suspension that the Nissan model and its other sisters carry. The DF6 has a length of 5.29 meters, a wheelbase of 3.15 meters and a load capacity of 800 kilos. Single-wheel drive or 4WD versions are offered, with a 5MT or 6AT box. As standard, it is equipped with a double airbag, ISOFIX, ESP, hill start assistant, eco-leather upholstery, Smart Key, multimedia system with a 7 or 9-inch screen and a reversing camera (only available in the 4WD version).
