Google involves developers in Android ecosystem compatibility testing

Google has presented a novelty with which it seeks to combat fragmentation in the Android mobile phone ecosystem and ensure that all applications have a consistent operation regardless of the brand of the device. The Compatibility Test Set (CTS) is a tool that the technology company has made available to manufacturers to check for incompatibilities that may arise in Android devices.
