FNX Magokiler Posted July 3, 2022 Share Posted July 3, 2022 NASA will return to the Moon in 2025 thanks to the Artemis Project, with a crew of astronauts who will have the fortune to set foot on the lunar surface again 56 years after Neil Armstrong did it in 1969. Well, to move the aforementioned crew, the firm Canoo won the contract to supply the vehicles and today they can finally be seen. Canoo is an electric car manufacturer that now reveals the first images of the vehicles that will serve to transport the crew of the Artemis Project. The vehicle is called the LifeStyle Vehicle, and it is the first production model that Canoo will bring to market. There will be passenger and commercial versions. The variants that will be delivered to NASA will be slightly modified based on the requirements that the specific space agency. What did NASA ask these crew transport cars to have? NASA requested that the vehicles for Project Artemis not pollute, that they could carry four astronauts, three additional crew members and a driver. The cars, in addition, need to have space for five suitcases with equipment, four cooling units and a suitcase with a hospital transfer stretcher. Canoo intends to sell the LifeStyle Vehicle in four versions: Base, Premium, Adventure and Delivery, with a starting price of US$34,750 (about 32 million pesos). The vehicle is equipped with an electric motor that generates 300 Hp and 450 Nm of torque.
