The French brand DS Automobiles announces a collaboration agreement with Beat in its new Beat Zero service, an electromobility application initially available in some districts of Santiago.

The luxury firm of the Stellantis Group delivers a fleet of 120 units of its first 100% electric model, the DS 3 Crossback E-Tense, which began sales in Chile last April.

The agreement between DS Automobiles Chile and Beat includes the after-sales service by the brand, which will be carried out in the new Beat Zero Hub inside the Mall Plaza Los Domínicos (Las Condes). Likewise, for months now, a comprehensive training process has been carried out for drivers so that they know the technological vehicle before use.

The French brand aims to be a 100% electric brand by 2030, and in this process, collaborate in the complicated electrification processes in all the markets where it participates, including Chile. The most relevant is the launch of electrified models such as the 100% electric DS3 Crossback E-TENSE and the DS7 Crossback E-TENSE 4x4 plug-in hybrid SUV.

Both are already on sale in Chile, and as of May this year, it led the zero-emission car market with 19% of total electric car sales in Chile.

“In line with the commitment of DS Automobiles worldwide, our focus is on being a leading brand in electromobility in Chile. The benefits of the DS 3 Crossback E-Tense are based on the design, its cutting-edge technology and habitability, since it does not lose interior space due to batteries. The power plant is based on developments gained from our experience in Formula E, a competition in which DS Automobiles has been world champion twice. Our ambition is to remain the leading brand in the 100% electric segment this year in Chile and to be a relevant player in the development of electrification in our country," says Nicolás Eyzaguirre, commercial manager of DS Automobiles Chile.

For DS Automobiles, this agreement with Beat represents the first step in an aggressive strategy to introduce its new generation electrified vehicles, offering unique services for private customers, and high degrees of flexibility to adapt to all the requirements of different companies.
