• Other Information: Onika Tanya Maraj-Petty (born December 8, 1982), known by her stage name Nicki Minaj (/mɪˈnɑːʒ/), is a Trinidadian rapper, singer, songwriter, model and actress. Caribbean and moved to the New York borough of Queens when he was five years old, graduating from arts schools later. After releasing three mixtapes between 2007 and 2009, she signed a record deal with Young Money.
• She released her debut album Pink Friday (2010) and reached the top of the US Billboard 200 best-selling album chart and certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) within a month of its release. The song "Super Bass" was certified quadruple platinum by the RIAA, and has sold over eight million digital copies, making it one of the best-selling singles in the United States. Minaj became the first artist to have seven songs as singles on the Billboard Hot 100 song list at the same time.
