FNX Magokiler
In June 2020, SEAT Mo, a new sustainable urban mobility division of the Spanish brand imported by Porsche Chile, was presented in Barcelona, debuting three 100% electric products: the eScooter 125 motorcycle and the eKickScooter 25 and 65 skateboards. Two years later SEAT Mo is already marketed in several European countries and in some Spanish cities it has developed a subscription business model for motorcycle sharing and motorcycle rental, with loans for minutes, hours, days, weeks and months. Well, SEAT Mo debuts this July in Chile with the eScooter 125 and the eKickScooter 65. The business model will not be the same as the one used for SEAT cars. Although the six dealers that the brand has (four in Santiago, one in Viña del Mar and another in Concepción) will be used to exhibit these two new products, direct sales will not be possible. And it is that SEAT Mo will exclusively use digital channels for this, with the customer being able to choose between picking up their motorcycle or skateboard at a dealership (where they will receive guidance on its use), or receiving it directly at home. Likewise, the commitment to fleet sales will intensify, indicates Ricardo Yungue, manager of SEAT. The products The SEAT Mo eScooter 125 is, as its name suggests, a mid-size scooter equivalent in size and numbers to a 125 cc. Of course it is 100% electric, it was developed and is manufactured by the Catalan specialist Silence, although with the specifications and design of SEAT Mo. The model is offered with three matt paint options (intense red, dark aluminum and oxygen white), it has a space to store two helmets and the seat allows the driver and passenger to comfortably transport. The motor is 9 kW of power (12 Hp) and 240 Nm of torque and is integrated into the rear wheel. The brand says that although these numbers are equivalent to a 125, the performance is similar to a 250 cc, since it can accelerate from 0 to 50 km/h in 3.9 seconds and reach 100 km/h. Under the seat is a 5.6 kWh lithium-ion battery that homologates a range of up to 133 km on a charge. As a novelty, it is a removable battery and can be taken home for charging as if it were a carry-on suitcase. It has a digital trip master, City, Sport, Eco driving modes, and reverse gear that facilitates manoeuvring. It also includes two USB ports, a phone holder, and an integrated GPS that allows you to track the motorcycle through the SEAT Mo application. It is a folding electric skateboard, which will be available in a unique deep red matte paint, and features tubeless tires, front and rear lights, side reflectors, and front and rear electrically actuated drum brakes. The electrical system that moves it starts with a 551 Wh battery and continues with a motor with a nominal power of 350 W. SEAT Mo indicates that with this it offers a range of up to 65 kilometers (hence its name), and a limited maximum speed of 20 km/h (in order to comply with German regulations), being able to climb slopes of up to 20 degrees. https://noticias.autocosmos.cl/2022/06/10/seat-trae-a-chile-su-primera-moto-electrica
