The Golden State Warriors beat the Boston Celtics (107-88) this Sunday and tied the NBA Finals 1-1 after the first two games played in San Francisco (USA).

 

Stephen Curry (29 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists and 3 steals) was the best of the Warriors who crushed the Celtics in a spectacular third quarter (35-14).

For Boston, the top scorer was Jayson Tatum (28 points, 6 rebounds and 3 assists).

 

Within a sad collective performance by the Celtics (37.5% shooting from the field and 18 turnovers), the Dominican Al Horford did not have his day and finished with 2 points, 8 rebounds, an assist and a block in 28 minutes.

The Mexican-American Juan Toscano-Anderson played 4 minutes for the Warriors in which he contributed 2 assists and 2 rebounds.

The first half was as chaotic as it was even, with Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown leading the Celtics and the Warriors who, under the baton of Stephen Curry, went into the break ahead taking advantage of Boston's 11 losses (52-50).

 

However, Golden State dynamited the match in the third quarter, crushing some Celtics without the ability to react and reinforcing a +23 before the last quarter that sentenced the duel.
