#Wittels- Posted June 7, 2022 Posted June 7, 2022 The San Francisco team was led by Stephen Curry who had 29 points, 4 assists and 3 steals. The 3-4 game will be played at the TD Garden. Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry (R) shoots over Boston Celtics players Al Horford (L) and Derrick White (C) during the second quarter of Game 2 of the NBA Finals The Golden State Warriors beat the Boston Celtics (107-88) this Sunday and tied the NBA Finals 1-1 after the first two games played in San Francisco (USA). Stephen Curry (29 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists and 3 steals) was the best of the Warriors who crushed the Celtics in a spectacular third quarter (35-14). For Boston, the top scorer was Jayson Tatum (28 points, 6 rebounds and 3 assists). Within a sad collective performance by the Celtics (37.5% shooting from the field and 18 turnovers), the Dominican Al Horford did not have his day and finished with 2 points, 8 rebounds, an assist and a block in 28 minutes. The Mexican-American Juan Toscano-Anderson played 4 minutes for the Warriors in which he contributed 2 assists and 2 rebounds. The first half was as chaotic as it was even, with Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown leading the Celtics and the Warriors who, under the baton of Stephen Curry, went into the break ahead taking advantage of Boston's 11 losses (52-50). However, Golden State dynamited the match in the third quarter, crushing some Celtics without the ability to react and reinforcing a +23 before the last quarter that sentenced the duel. So much so that the two teams reserved their figures in the last quarter since the Warriors came to win by 29 points in that quarter without history. The Warriors are looking for their fourth ring in eight years and these are their sixth Finals since 2015 while the Celtics, 17-time NBA champions (the most along with the Los Angeles Lakers), have not won the title since 2008 and have not reached the Finals since 2010. The Finals now travel to Boston (USA), where the third game will be played on Wednesday and the fourth will be played on Friday Link: https://www.eluniverso.com/deportes/otros-deportes/golden-state-warriors-empatan-1-1-las-finales-frente-los-celtics-y-se-alistan-para-viajar-a-boston-nota/
