FNX Magokiler
NVIDIA recently released new drivers for graphics cards based on the Kepler architecture that correct important vulnerabilities. Well, new security drivers are now here, but in this case for the Windows 7 operating system. NVIDIA's Windows 7 GeForce Security 473.62 drivers fix serious security vulnerabilities. These drivers, as happened with the ones from a few days ago for the NVIDIA Kepler, do not contribute anything in terms of performance. The new drivers also do not correct performance problems that may occur in the Windows 7 operating system. These drivers are only released to correct a large number of quite critical vulnerabilities. NVIDIA Releases Windows 7 GeForce Security 473.62 Driver Remember that Game Ready Drivers are no longer released for Windows 7 from October 2021. All drivers for said operating system from Microsoft will add security fixes. None of them will implement performance improvements, new features and bug fixes. NVIDIA currently only creates drivers with improvements and bug fixes for the Windows 10 and Windows 11 operating systems. Any other Microsoft operating systems will therefore only receive security updates. Microsoft has officially stopped supporting the Windows 7 operating system. It only continues to develop updates to correct serious security flaws. This will continue until September 2024, which will be when Microsoft stops offering any type of support for this operating system. NVIDIA has also marked that date to stop releasing drivers that contain security patches. According to NVIDIA, the graphics cards compatible with these drivers are: RTX 30 Series (and laptop equivalents) Titan-RTX RTX 20 Series (and laptop equivalents) Titan V titan xp titan x GTX 16 Series (and laptop equivalents) GTX 10 Series (and laptop equivalents) GTX Titan Series GTX 900 Series (and laptop equivalents) GTX 800M Series GTX 700 Series GT 700 series GTX 600 Series GT 600 Series MX450 MX350 / MX330 MX250 / MX230 MX150 / MX130 / MX110 You can download them from the NVIDIA website
