With its re:CAKE program, the company intends to extend the life of its motorcycles by renewing used models and putting them up for sale to potential customers who are more committed to the environment. The reconditioned CAKE electric motorcycles are easily distinguishable, as they incorporate recognizable green fenders with the logo of the new Swedish project.

CAKE became known in 2018 with the discovery of its electric offroad machine, Kalk. From the launch of the company with the Kalk, dreams have developed new variants and models of electrified motorcycle. In fact, the brand continues to present projects that stand out for the spirit of sustainable development.

They are so committed to the environment that they are already developing a motorcycle that works with solar energy, to combat poaching in South Africa, or the recent announcement of replacing the plastics in their products with a new and ecological cellulose material.

 

In the re:CAKE program, motorcycles are inspected and reconditioned by the official technical service of the Swedish brand. The machines that pass the tests are easily distinguishable, as they install a new green front fender and fork cover, also green. In these new elements the signature re:CAKE adorns the whole.

Initially the brand will market the reconditioned motorcycles with marketing purposes, for example for press tests. Over time, the availability of models will evolve as well as prices, and the guarantee conditions that will be established for each machine will be based on its age and condition.

 

So far, about ten motorcycles have been put up for sale through re:CAKE. The new second-hand green machine program can be very attractive to customers whose market base price is too high for them.

Now, it is possible to buy a Kalk& or a Kalk OR from 9,900 euros, two new models that cost 14,500 and 13,500 euros respectively.
