Wassim MH Posted April 9, 2022 Posted April 9, 2022 Β Since 2018, from β¬12,000 Still offering the best quality/price ratio in the segment, this second-generation Duster further improves its performance. While retaining the same base as its predecessor, it gains in seduction with a subtly modernized appearance, a better presented and warmer passenger compartment, despite the persistence of hard plastics, better curved seats and upgraded equipment. In addition to still convincing damping comfort, it also enhances its driving pleasure with smoother and more precise electric power steering, as well as better filtration. Always as considerate, its behavior is more rigorous on the more expensive 4Γ4 versions (from β¬14,000), which offer real off-road skills. Thanks to its lightness (around 1,200 kg), its performance is far from indecent. In gasoline, we will favor the old 4-cylinder 1.2 TCe 125 hp, more valiant than the small 3-cylinder 1.0 liter TCe 100, also available in LPG, Eco-G, and, in diesel, the very sober 1.5 dCi 110 /115 ch. Reliability 4/5 Reliability above average, despite some failures. Tce 125 engine: small oil overconsumption possible; injection pump replacements. 1.5 dCi engine: reprogramming; engine harness, glow plug, turbo or radiator hose replacements; clogged DPF hoses. Steering: weak assistance (to be reprogrammed): noise when steering (floor or steering box). Braking: pedal becoming hard (amplifier problem β reminder summer 2019). Noisy front axle (suspension spring). Climβ: adjustment difficulties (control cables); incorrect temperature display (control). Multimedia system sometimes to be reprogrammed.
