Ga[M]er Posted April 7, 2022 Posted April 7, 2022 The Turkish romantic comedy “Ask Taktikleri”, by Emre Kabakusak (newcomer), released worldwide by the streaming platform Netflix on Friday (11/2/2022), with a duration of 1 hour and 38 minutes. The plot, which takes place in Istanbul, follows a beautiful stylist, the single Asli (played by Demet Özdemir ), who does not believe in love, and a handsome publicist, the womanizer Kerem (played by Sükrü Özyildiz), who also doesn't believe in love and makes a bet with her brother that will make a woman fall in love with him and then leave her, the stylist has a friend who was dumped by a “heartless” man and left her down, so Asli swears that he will avenge her by making any man fall madly in love with her and then abandon him, keeping the followers of her blog, “Táticas de Amor”, aware of the entire process of conquest until its outcome, however she does not even she imagined that, coincidentally, the target of her revenge was the same one used by her friend, the publicist who works at the same company that bought hers. The film is fun, superficial and predictable, with average performances by the protagonists, but with good chemistry between them, good art direction, good cinematography, beautiful costumes, beautiful Cappadocia scenery, good soundtrack, slow pace and a weak script, with good initial intentions, however, it gets lost soon after, which brings two beautiful and seductive people, the woman showing that female empowerment is crucial so that she does not fall into the traps of the “dons juans”, while the man shows his sexist speech, however it is impossible to manage feelings, let alone love. It's worth watching and having fun, despite the flaws and clichés. Check out the trailer:
