This project is part of a historic partnership between City Cars KIA and the Tennis Club of Tunis. On Friday December 24, 2021, Kheiereddine Kechrid, President of the TCT, as well as the members of the club welcomed Kamel Deguiche, Minister of Youth and Sports, Souad Abderrahim, Mayor of the city of Tunis, Mehrez Boussayene, President of the Tunisian Olympic Committee , representatives of the press as well as guests passionate about Tennis and Padel to inaugurate in a festive and warm atmosphere, the new sports facility, called "Padel by KIA". “KIA is a dynamic brand whose name has been associated internationally for many years with a large number of sports. With great pride, the KIA Tunisia team has therefore just locally consolidated the brand's commitment to sport, by developing this new "Padel" ground at the Tennis Club of Tunis. This is one of the Social Responsibility actions that City Cars-KIA undertakes as part of its unwavering support for sport. This new Padel project is a commitment that marks the anchoring of the brand in supporting Tunisian sport, and particularly Tennis,” said Riadh Annabi, General Manager of City Cars KIA. The "Padel By Kia" meets the standards of international competitions For his part, Kheiereddine Kechrid, President of the TCT, did not fail to highlight the importance of the CSR action of City Cars – KIA which does not hesitate to provide continuous support to Tennis. He also thanked the municipality of Tunis, the supervisory ministry and the Tunisian Tennis Federation (FTT) for their help and assistance before specifying that the "Padel By Kia" field meets the standards of international competitions and that it has been ordered from the official supplier of the World Padel Tour circuit. About padel Padel, which is beginning to develop in Tunisia, has, under cover of the International Padel Federation, more than eight million practitioners worldwide. It is a racket sport derived from tennis, played on a smaller court, framed by glazing and fences.
