The undefeated Barcelona SC, after being eliminated on penalties in the third phase of the Copa Libertadores, will play in Group A of the Copa Sudamericana against teams that they know little about, but that come to the competition with good moments. According to the draw held this Friday in Luque, Barcelona SC will play against Lanús from Argentina, a team that was the top favourite, as well as Montevideo Wanderes and Metropolitano FC from Venezuela. The rivals, although little known, have some experience in international tournaments; especially Lanús, which in 2017 was runner-up in the Copa Libertadores, which it lost in the final against Gremio de Porto Alegre. Lanús will once again compete against an Ecuadorian team. What team is Lanus? The Argentine team reached the South American after finishing eighth in the last Argentine tournament with 56 points. It currently occupies the penultimate place in the local tournament with four points in group B and a balance of 6-7 goals. Its foundation was on January 3, 1915 and in the draw it was the top seed of the group. Which team is Montevideo Wanderers? The Uruguayan team reached the group phase, after defeating Cerro Largo 3-1 on aggregate in the first phase, in the league between teams from the same country. Montevideo is a team that has been founded for 120 years and plays in the Estadio Parque Alfredo Víctor Viera stadium. Of the three he is the oldest. He is currently undefeated in six games with 12 points, second in the Uruguayan league, behind the surprising Deportivo Maldonado. What team is Metropolitanos FC?
