An MV Agusta is always a dream bike, but the F4 1000 Tamburini goes further: it cost 40,000 euros when it was launched in 2005 limited to 300 units.

The Italian MV Agusta is a mythical brand due to its history and the extreme nature of its designs or the performance of its sports shoes. Also for some limited editions that at the time set the bar higher and higher and this is a good example. When they launched the F4 1000 in 2005, in addition to the “normal” one, they launched two series limited to 300 units, the Ago and this one Tamburini dedicated to its designer who directly said of it that it was “my dream: this is my bike”. With a full carbon fiber fairing among other delicacies, it cost 40,000 euros in its day: this one that we have found sells in the United States and its price is already over 20,000...

The MV Agusta F4 1000 marked a milestone in 2005 with its inline four-cylinder engine capable of offering 172 hp as standard. It also released a variable intake system, the Torque Shift System, which modified the length of the intake trumpets to improve response at low and medium speeds. With its own trellis frame, the production bike was already a very exclusive sports car in itself, with a claimed top speed of 304 km/h, another milestone in its day.

This limited version adds a series of components to the recipe of the already luxurious series motorcycle that trigger its price and exclusivity, also lowering the weight below 200 kg. From the outset, all the parts of the fairing are made of carbon fiber, and as you can see in the photos, the decoration barely hides the material, on the contrary, the texture of the fiber (perfectly finished) shows off with pride. Light Marchesini rims, Ohlins suspensions of the highest level of the moment, special screws in light alloys, curiously Nissin brakes (not Brembo)... The motorcycle was one of the 59 imported to the United States, and the seller bought it and used it for a short time (it has 5000 kilometers) just before putting it away leaving it exposed. He sells it through the Iconic MotorBike website, which only had to do a general review to change fluids and battery.
