Five years after the concept I.D. Buzz, Volkswagen introduces the mass-produced version of this model po[CENSORED]rly identified as the electric Combi. With almost the same features as the concept, this van expands the range of electric I.D. models, while also starting Volkswagen's offer of zero-emission commercial vehicles.

Because the battery is lightweight and located on the floor, the vehicle achieves good weight distribution and a low center of gravity.
Through a DC (direct current) fast charging station, the battery is recharged from 5 to 80% of its capacity in about 30 minutes.
As it has a bidirectional charge, it works as a power plant, which allows it to feed a home network.

Due to its dimensions, the VW ID. Buzz is listed as a compact vehicle, however, the interior is comparable to a midsize model.

The length of both versions is 4,712 mm.
It has a wheelbase of 2,988 mm.
Relative to overall length, it's a very long wheelbase.
Depending on the specification, it measures 1,937mm or 1,938mm tall.
It has a width of 1,985 mm.
The turning radius of 11.1 meters is unusually small. 

In addition to standing out for its peculiar and aerodynamic (Cd 0.29) design, the ID. Buzz achieves an extremely spacious and minimalist interior space.

In the case of the passenger version, five people have ample space to travel and for their luggage (1,121 liters of capacity).
If the second row of seats is folded down, the cargo capacity increases to 2,205 litres.
Two or three seats in the front, depending on the customer's wishes.
In the cargo version, it is equipped with a fixed bulkhead that separates the cargo space of 3.9 cubic meters.
