Dorsett began his career as a as a volunteer reporter for ‘Redbrick’, the University of Birmingham student newspaper. He has also worked at the BBC as a news reporter, before moving to TV the following year, covering news and sport stories for BBC Midlands Today. He has also served as chief news reporter at BBC London.
