Al Hilal club board of directors, headed by Fahd bin Nafel, announced today, Monday, the dismissal of the Portuguese Leonardo Jardim from the technical leadership of the team and the appointment of the Argentine Ramon Diaz in his place.

 

Al-Hilal thanked Jardim after a period he spent inside the castle of the leader, and this decision came as a result of Al-Hilal's loss by a clean four from Al-Ahly of Egypt in the Club World Cup in the match to determine the third place "bronze".

 

Al-Hilal, under the leadership of Jardim, has played 26 matches in various tournaments, since he took over the team in the summer of 2021.

The leader under Jardim's leadership won 14 matches, tied 8 matches, and lost only 4 matches in various tournaments.

 

Al-Hilal and Jardim won the 2021 AFC Champions League, when the leader managed to defeat the South Korean Pohang Steelers, in addition to the Saudi Super Cup after defeating Al-Faisaly on penalties.
