French Presidents Emmanuel Macron and Egyptian Abdel Fattah El-Sisi stressed the need to restore security and stability in Libya, especially the exit of mercenaries and foreign forces.

He added that it was agreed on concerted joint efforts between the two sides to help the Libyan brothers restore security and stability in the country, especially through the exit of mercenary and foreign forces in all their forms from Libyan lands, and the elimination of terrorism.

In a related context, United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres called on all parties in Libya to maintain its stability.
