Askor lml Posted February 9, 2022 Posted February 9, 2022 The Nissan Z was on tour before going on sale. Despite the cancellation of the New York Motor Show, the scoop was raised last August in the United States and just started this year it did the same at the Tokyo Motor Show where it is known as Fairlady Z. Well, just our colleagues from Nissan Z Forum took the time to live with this car for a while and by the way they advanced a bit of their experience by publishing a video where we see the Japanese sports car accelerating fully. It should be noted that the car that appears in action is a pre-production and while it gives us an idea of the symphony that the Nissan Z's twin-turbo V6 will emit, in the end there could be some changes in instrument tuning. In this sense we have that the engine sounds like a genuine V6 biturbo. Perhaps the note is not the most beautiful, but it certainly sounds quite good. However, something here does not add up and it is that in the promotional ones a deeper and more serious sound was heard. We have to wait to hear the final melody and we hope it sounds even better. Just to recap, the 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged V6 makes 400 hp and 350 pound-feet of torque. As noted above, that's a respectable amount, beating the Toyota GR Supra, which makes 382 hp and 369 lb-ft of torque. While we don't yet know what the car will be like to drive, its promise of a manual transmission option and its front-engine, rear-wheel-drive layout are a good start. With that, there's a lot of potential for performance and Nissan seems to get it. Nissan promised that the 2023 Z will start sales in the United States this spring, so we will see it in Mexico a couple of months later. Below you can enjoy the video with the symphony of the new Z.
