Mexican slugger Adrián González announced his retirement as a Major League player on Saturday on his Instagram account. «Today I officially announce my retirement… Baseball, thank you for everything you gave me. Great teammates, coaches, memories and most importantly friends for life," González wrote in a post on Instagram. "Baseball has been in my DNA since I was born and will always be a part of who I am...(but) Now is the time to move on with my life in new businesses and partnerships," he added.
