Askor lml Posted February 4, 2022 Posted February 4, 2022 The American team unveiled the car that it will use during the next season, the VF-22. The Haas Formula 1 team became the first to reveal what the 2022 cars will look like with the new technical regulations. Through its social networks, the team showed the decoration of the Haas VF-22 that will be driven by the German Mick Schumacher and the Russian Nikita Mazepin. The vehicle, the first created in the new Maranello design office, has white as its base color, to which bright red and blue (the colors of Russia) are added. The only visible sponsor is Uralkali, who joined the team last year alongside Mazepin. In this vehicle, some outstanding aspects of the new regulations stand out, such as more simplified aerodynamics and 18-inch tires, which will also be released this year. “We all know what the team is capable of, we have shown it in the past, and with this new car, born from a completely new set of regulations and with our new design team in place, I am sure we will be competitive.” said Gunther Steiner, responsible for the team. “It has been a tremendous effort by everyone involved and now comes the fun part of taking the new car out on the track and adjusting all the elements. Last season was long, but I am sure that 2022 will see us fighting again with the VF-22”, admitted the team-manager. “It is a completely new set of rules and this season we have brought in a new team to manage the creation of the VF-22… This is probably the most complex project the team has faced to date,” added Simone Resta, Director Haas technician. Haas presented renders of his vehicle. Therefore, we will have to wait for the tests at the end of February in Barcelona, Spain, to see the definitive aspect of the monoposto. Founded by the American Gene Haas, this team landed in Formula 1 in 2016. Since then it has contested 122 Grand Prix. His best position was achieved in 2018 when he achieved fifth place in the Constructors' Cup. News brought by http://noticias.autocosmos.com.ve/
