The Foreign Minister of the Republic, Félix Plasencia, met on Wednesday with the Permanent Commission on Foreign Policy, Sovereignty and Integration of the National Assembly, in order to review the foreign policy guidelines of the Government of President Nicolás Maduro.

This was reported by Plasencia on his Twitter social network account, in which he stated "In the Federal Legislative Palace, we had a pleasant meeting with the Permanent Commission on Foreign Policy of the National Assembly, in which we reviewed the main guidelines of the policy foreign affairs led by the President @NicolasMaduro”.
In another tweet, the foreign minister explained that the meeting reaffirmed the broad scope of Venezuela's presence on the international stage, based on the principles of solidarity, integration, complementarity and cooperation.

He also said that the meeting showed everyone's interest in defending the international rights of Venezuelans, the commitment to dignifying the lives of Venezuelans, and the rejection of unilateral coercive measures exercised against the country.
