The Foreign Minister of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Félix Plasencia, reported that the copies of style accrediting Margaud Godoy as the country's ambassador to the Central American nation were delivered to the Honduran Foreign Minister, Enrique Reina.

Godoy is a trial lawyer, an expert in criminal proceedings, graduated from the Universidad de los Andes. She was deputy minister of communes, governor of Cojedes and minister of People's Power for Women and Gender Equality.
Venezuela and Honduras agreed to restore diplomatic relations. From the Honduran nation, Plasencia stressed that with this action the country recovers its diplomatic headquarters. "Today our diplomatic relations are restored, together we will build Latin American and Caribbean unity," he said.
