(Auto) Honda launches autonomous heavy-duty vehicle

We recently got to know the first Boobcat electric trascabo, which will start working this year. Today, Honda announces its first vehicle of this type, but it is also autonomous.

What's the matter?
Within the framework of the World of Concrete 2022 to be held soon in Las Vegas, Honda will unveil its first Autonomous Work Vehicle (AWV), which, among other features, has been developed on a robust architecture called off-road-side-by- Honda side, supported by the latest technological developments in autonomy.

Honda ensures that this new type of vehicle is capable of providing different solutions to different types of industries, especially when it comes to carrying out work in complicated terrain, increasing safety and also reducing risks for workers without sacrificing labor.

How does it work?
The Honda AWV uses a wide range of components that allows it to carry out work in a completely autonomous and safe way, monitored at all times by the personnel in charge:

The vehicle can also be operated by remote control and is capable of supporting significant loads, as well as adding accessories or tools to carry out different types of work.
