The president of the National Electoral Board (JNE), Tania D'Amelio, announced this Thursday that the request for a referendum to revoke the mandate of the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, is inadmissible.

During a press conference, she highlighted that only 42 thousand 241 people signed, which represents 1.01% of the po[CENSORED]tion. Likewise, she reported that no state in the country achieved the required 20% as established by the legal system that regulates it.

The figures correspond to the transmission of 98.58 of the signatures of the request promoted by the Venezuelan Movement for the Recall (MOVER) and the adhering groups Todos Unidos por el Referendum Revocatorio, Democratic Right and the organization for political purposes MIN Unity.

Opposition blamed Guaidó
