One of the biggest references when buying a motorcycle is the Japanese manufacturer. And now, Yamaha has just announced that its two electric scooters E01 and E02 will hit the European market in 2022.

To say that these two models were sent for the first time at the Tokyo Motor Show in 2019. And since then they have undergone changes both in terms of design and in terms of performance. For this they joined Gogoro, a manufacturer specialized in the production and sale of electric motorcycles.

Now, the Japanese company has confirmed that its two electric scooters have begun to enter the production chain so that they can reach the European and Asian market throughout 2022.

The truth is that the Japanese firm has not given too many details about how its Yamaha E01 and E02 electric scooters have evolved since their launch in 2019. And this all it has done has been to increase rumors about what we can expect. Recall that the task of the motor giant was to turn a concept into a real electric scooter, and it is not exactly an easy task.

Regarding the E01 model, we know that it is a 125 cc electric scooter and that it will have the corresponding benefits to be able to circulate legally both in Europe and Asia. In this way, we can expect this model to have a power of 11 kW, or 15 hp, in addition to a maximum speed of 90 kilometers per hour.

Regarding the Yamaha E02 e-scooter, this is a model that boasts much more restrained dimensions, so in Spain it will surely be a 50 CC moped. It can carry up to two people and offers a rear swingarm. Even rumors suggest that it could have a removable battery to offer a product with better autonomy.

 

At the moment we do not have more information about the new electric motorcycles from Yamaha, but if they launch them on the market at an attractive price, it could be the next big bomb from the Japanese manufacturer.

It should be remembered that electric scooters are on the rise. And many users can see in these two electric scooters an excellent alternative to be able to move freely thanks to a significantly higher power and autonomy.

Its price? At the moment we do not know what these Yamaha E01 and E02 will cost, so we will have to wait for the manufacturer to reveal more information about it.
