  • Other Information: Marília Dias Mendonça (Cristianópolis, July 22, 1995 — Piedade de Caratinga, November 5, 2021) was a Brazilian singer, composer and instrumentalist, one of the names with the greatest repercussion and influence in Brazilian music in the 2010s and 2020s.
  • In 2015 she released her self-titled debut EP, but Mendonça only gained prominence after releasing her first DVD of the same name in 2016, which awarded her triple platinum certification for the 240,000 copies sold. The song "Infiel", included on the album, became one of the most played songs in Brazil and received a triple diamond record certificate, making Marília gain national visibility. His second album Realidade was released in 2017 and received a Latin Grammy nomination in the Best Sertaneja Music Album category. In 2019, she released Todos os Cantos, a scripted project with concerts recorded by the singer in all capitals of the country. Country Music Album.
  • Mendonça died on November 5, 2021, victim of a fatal air accident in Piedade de Caratinga, Minas Gerais, where she would perform a concert.Born in Cristianópolis and raised in Goiânia, she had her first contact with music through the church and began composing when she was 12 years old, starting to write songs for various singers, such as the songs "Minha Herança" (João Neto & Frederico) , "Lots of Ice, Little Whiskey" (Wesley Safadão), "Until You Come Back", "Take Care of Her", "Flower and the Hummingbird" (Henrique & Juliano), "Human Being or an Angel" (Matheus & Kauan ), "Calma" (Jorge & Mateus) and "It's Her Who I Am" (Cristiano Araújo).
  • She launched herself as a singer in January 2014 through her first self-titled EP. In June 2015, the song "Impasse" was released, the singer's first single, featuring the duo Henrique & Juliano. In March 2016, she released her first album entitled Marília Mendonça: Ao Vivo which featured as singles the songs "Sentimento Louco" and "Infiel" and the participation of the duo Henrique & Juliano. "Infiel" became the second most played song on radio in Brazil that year, making Mendonça gain national recognition. In October, a live acoustic EP named Agora É Que São Elas was released, with previous hit tracks and the single song "Eu Sei de Cor" as a single.
