The two foundations that star in this exhibition, Santuario Gaia and Hogar Animal Sanctuary, work with respect for animals and are in charge of rescuing and caring for them so that they live in freedom by creating reserves where animals coexist in a harmonious way.

During the presentation was attended by Gemma Roig and Yolanda Cabellé, from the Fundación el Hogar Animal, and the artist, Ana Palacios, who highlighted that for her “it was a very interesting opportunity to get to know the animal sanctuaries from within, something that was absolutely unknown to me and which has been very exciting to discover ”.
With 'Harmony', which shares a name with one of the protagonists of this project, the author wants to show alternatives for interaction with the environment based on more sustainable ways of life, respectful of animals and the health of the planet as a whole. In addition, it emphasizes that, in these places, such as animal sanctuaries, there is not only a philosophy of environmental conservation , but also a new proposal for the relationship between humans and nature , based on respect for animals.

photographers Chema Conesa and Ángel Marcos. They based their decision on the "brilliant aesthetic construction of the photographic story , the original and respectful discourse towards the natural environment and animal life, and their accurate and empathetic look at different life options."
It is important to note that the foundations that feature in this exhibition are part of PYMEF, the Spanish association of small and medium-sized foundations, the germ of this project. It is an entity that was born in 2018 with the main objective of helping the different foundations that have arisen with the concern of improving the social fabric through support, advice and promotion.
Excellence and effectiveness in the implementation of its values has led to, in just three years, 200 foundations have become part of this foundation of foundations that covers fields such as health, education, social assistance, scientific research, entrepreneurship. , job creation, heritage conservation, culture promotion, environmental protection and sports promotion .
Ana Palacios is a journalist and documentary The exhibition shows attendees the photographic work of Ana Palacios in 60 pieces that, from a different and profound perspective, give a voice to the protagonists and bring the everyday realities of animal sanctuaries closer to the public.
It should be noted that "Armonía" is the winning project of the first edition of the contest 'f / DKV Aragón for photography with a cause' held last June. With this contest, the insurer sought to reward the best project presented by an Aragonese photographer focused on aspects related to the health of the planet and individual health, highlighting speeches on women, disability, nutrition and childhood obesity and the environment.
It is not the only recognition that 'Harmony' has received. In fact, one of his photographs has been chosen by National Geographic as one of the best photographs of the year 2021. 
The project of the Zaragoza Ana Palacios perfectly fulfilled this requirement and was awarded by the jury formed by Miguel García, Director of Communication and Responsible Business of DKV, Alicia Ventura, Curator and advisor of the Arteria DKV Program and by the photographer and her work on development cooperation has been published around the world in media such as National Geographic, The Guardian Weekend Magazine, Al Jazeera, BBC, New Internationalist, 6 Mois, Die Zeit, Stern, Der Spiegel, Het Blad, Terra Mater, Days Japan, Daily Mirror, Daily Mail, Paper, XL Weekly, El País, Weather, etc.
His work has been exhibited in different art centers around the world such as the French Alliance in Dar Es Salaam (Tanzania), Casadelle Donne in Rome (Italy), Gobbeling Art Center in Paris (France) Palau Robert in Barcelona (Spain) or the Circle of Fine Arts of Madrid (Spain).
This award is another proof that the objective of f / DKV, center for photography with a cause, is to become a reference center in Aragon that accommodates photographic projects of social interest, linked to the social and environmental causes for which it works. the company from an activist position.
