"Reason for your slump?"

—The slump is due to the fact that every athlete in their different disciplines has to experience that, and it is not the first time that I have experienced it, but the most important of all is how we face it and honestly it does not affect me in any way, Rather, it gives me more strength and the desire to continue working hard day by day and observe the faults that I may have and correct them to overcome that.

Gil got off to a sensational start, managed to escape early in the lead in the 2021 statistic and had no enemies, despite the fact that he slowed down the winning pace in the final quarter, as Jaime Lugo escorted him with 51 wins.
