(Sport) Cardinals completed two-run sweep against Braves

The Lara Cardinals defeated the Margarita Braves again in the second of the doubleheader at Barquisimeto 5-4.

Catcher Yojhan Quevedo was responsible for much of the twilight set's production with 3 RBIs.

Twilight took the lead in the same first episode with a hairline and then added 3 in the second with a double RBI by Quevedo and a single by Jecksson Flores.

The insulares responded in the third and leveled the score with a 4-race rally starring Carlos Pérez and David Rodríguez.
But Quevedo reappeared at the close of the fourth and responded again with men on base after a long turn where he had seven pitches.

After that unstoppable the relievers of both ninths were in charge of hanging zeroes on the scoreboard.

Yapson Gómez ended up scoring the save, his first of the season, when the islanders threatened to tie him at the end of the game.
