The first LEGO motorcycle designed at 1: 5 scale will be a BMW. A new size ratio, the largest to date and that promises greater precision in the design of the parts of this new LEGO Technic model, which have chosen the BMW M 1000 RR as a model.

LEGO Technic has unveiled a new model based on the BMW M 1000 RR. A model that debuts the scale 1: 5 and that, therefore, is the largest LEGO Technic motorcycle. 1920 LEGO pieces to make a model 45.5 cm long, 27 cm high and 17 cm wide. The accuracy of this piece replica is, along with its large size, its great appeal. For example, the suspensions are functional and completely inspired by the original model.

You can even change gears, as the gearbox has 3 switchable gears, in addition to neutral. And is that this LEGO TechnicTM M 1000 RR looks and moves as if it were the original BMW model (save the necessary distances). The accuracy in the pieces, yes, supposes that we are talking about a model exclusively for adults. In other words, we are talking about both a relaxing and entertaining construction project and a vision of the engineering used by motorcycles.

This model is presented with a stylish look in a red, white and blue color scheme alongside the iconic BMW branding. To achieve this elegance, it could not be otherwise, even the smallest detail has been taken care of: from the windshield to the tires. Components meanwhile meet rigorous industry standards to ensure they are consistent, compatible, and connect reliably at all times. And those who achieve this model, will be able to boast of it without problem, since assembling the set includes a display stand and a racing stand.

The LEGO TechnicTM M 1000 RR motorcycle is the fruit of a close collaboration between BMW and the LEGO Technic design team in which Samuel Tacchi has participated. Tacchi currently works at LEGO, but before that he was involved in motorcycle design. This is a further point of authenticity in the assembly of this new LEGO model that is sure to delight two-wheel enthusiasts.
