He was especially known for his song "Animals", which has reached the top of music lists in over ten countries and has more than 1 billion views on YouTube. Martin Garrix was discovered by a Dutch DJ, signed a contract with Spinnin' Records where he released several remixes and great hits such as the single "Wizard" with Jay Hardway, "Animals", "Gold Skies" with Sander Van Doorn, DVBBS and with Aleesia, BFAM with Julian Jordan, Virus (How About Now) with MOTi, Helicopter with Firebeatz, Proxy, Tremor with Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, which was a worldwide hit in 2014. In 2016 he released the single "In the Name of Love" which topped the global charts and replaced him among the most played artists on the Billboard Hot 100. Martin Garrix is ranked as the number 2 DJ in the world by the specialized magazine "DJ Mag". In 2013 at just 17 years old Garrix debuted on the list of the Top 100 DJs in the world and was ranked 40. The great success in the following years led him to reach the 4th and 3rd place in 2014 and 2015, respectively.
