#Wittels-
A year ago he broke eleven FIM records (including the top speed) and now they may fall short after the very important improvements he has received About a year ago we told you how Max Biaggi, riding the electric Voxan Wattman, broke different speed records. Records that may fall short very soon ... By then, the electric supermoto managed to overcome nothing less than the 400 km / h barrier and score its name in up to eleven records of the International Motorcycling Federation (FIM). But far from settling, Voxan engineers have continued to advance ... and aspire to more. Lighter and more powerful Now, the specialist brand in electric motorcycles owned by Venturi wants to go even further, thanks to the significant improvements they have received and which even allow a category change. The new Wattman will leave the category of more than 300 kilos to be placed in the immediately lower one thanks to the reduction of weight that Saft has achieved for its batteries of the very high power. But the improvements go further: there is also more power in its engine, which has a racing origin ... in motorsport. Because the machine that moves it is neither more nor less than the propellant of the Mercedes-EQ team's Formula E single-seaters (it goes from 270 kW to 320, that is, from 362 to 429 hp). Its design and proportions are also different. To take on the best performance, its wheelbase has been lengthened. In addition, Michelin has developed specific themes for this mount (inspired by those of MotoGP) with such special performance needs. The new Voxan Wattman will be ready in the coming months and the brand will already announce that in the first half of 2022 it will set new records, again with Max Biaggi as the star driver.
