  • Other Information: Zara Maria Larsson (Swedish pronunciation: /ˈsɑːra maˈriːa ˈlɑːʂɔn/, Stockholm, Sweden, December 16, 1997) is a Swedish singer and solo singer and songwriter. She gained international fame for winning the 2008 season of Talang's talent show, the Swedish version of Got Talent. Zara signed with TEN Music Group in 2010 and released their first extended play Introducing in January 2013. The single "Uncover" topped the charts in Sweden and Norway. Both the single "Uncover" as well as the Introducing EP were certified triple platinum in July 2013 by Universal Music Sweden. Zara also signed a three-year deal with Epic Records in the United States in April 2013. Larsson was featured in 2016 for singing the official theme song for the UEFA Euro 2016 held in France, alongside David Guetta.
  • In 2017, she won "Artist of the Year" at Sweden's Grammis Awards.
  • Larsson was born at Karolinska University Hospital, located in Stockholm, Sweden, as the daughter of Agnetha and Anders Larsson. In an interview with Svenska Dagbladet, she said she was born "dead" due to lack of oxygen in the nuchal cord. She has a younger sister, Hanna, who is also a singer and member of the band Lennixx.
