The Australian group that owns the Super Soco brand under which it sells affordable electric scooters and mopeds, has prepared a new presentation at the next EICMA in Milan which is expected to be a premium electric motorcycle to be sold under the new Vmoto brand.

 

Super Soco is a brand of mopeds and electric motorcycles that are generally characterized by their balanced performance designed for the mass market in which they seek their niche thanks to affordable prices. However, the group to which it belongs wants to take advantage of the reputation it has built as a builder of simple motorcycles to add the word "premium" to its list of features with a new brand of high-end motorcycles that will be available in Europe and the United States. .

Super Soco is one of the two main brands offered by the Australian group Vmoto which has its manufacturing centers in Asia. Super Soco has in its catalog a wide variety of models from the Cumini, which is at the entry level to the range approved as an electric moped, through the TS Street and TC Wanderer, to the top of the range, the TC-3 , its largest and most powerful maxi scooter.

During the celebration of the EICMA Milan Motorcycle Show, one of the most important motorcycle shows in the world and which takes place at the end of this month (25-28 November), a new presentation is planned that most likely has a lot to do with the new premium brand that will take directly on behalf of the Vmoto group.

In this way, the manufacturer enters a market dominated by the American brands Zero Motorcycles and Harley-Davidson and in Europe by Energica. While the first is the only one that offers entry models that start at somewhat more affordable prices (around 14,000 euros), of the other two it is not possible to get the cheapest model for less than 20,000 euros.

 

 

In this scenario, Vmoto could find a competitive advantage in the price at which it can offer its motorcycles in a market where performance, range and high technology are valued, but which also requires a good deal of design. To achieve this goal, you not only have to match the competition in these three conditions, but you also have to do so while maintaining good build quality.

In this market, the Chinese company Kollter also stands out, which has in its catalog some models that start at just over 6,000 euros at the exchange rate, but that have nothing to do with the design and the differentiating aspect of the previous ones.

For now, the Australian group has not offered more information about this announcement, and we will have to wait until the end of the month to know details about this first model and frame it in the segment in which it corresponds.
