And it is that, as if that were not enough, one of the added problems is that the ID.3 was attributed a special role at its launch, that of the electric heir to the Golf. Perhaps not so much has been achieved in this generation, but in the next one it will be closer to the compact -in performance, quality and benefits- the qualities that the Golf boasts.

To this day, we can tell you that the future of Wolfsburg's flagship model is staggering much more than desirable, and that a ninth generation is not in the plans. At least, not as a new model, but with the same "play" that they applied between the Golf 5 and Golf 6. A deeper restyling and an improved range of engines, with new plug-in hybrid versions is the bet with greater weight that prevails today at Volkswagen.
