The band gained worldwide recognition with the release of their debut studio album Night Visions (2012), and with their song "It's Time". Billboard placed Imagine Dragons at the top of its 2013 "Year In Rock" chart, and called them the breakout band of 2013.6 Rolling Stone magazine called their song Radioactive from Night Visions "the biggest rock hit of the year.
