  • Rolling Stone magazine promoted in October 2008 the list of the 100 greatest artists in Brazilian music, in which he was ranked 28th.
  • Pedro Paulo Soares Pereira was born in the city of São Paulo on April 22, 1970. Mano Brown is the son of Ana, who died on 12/16/2016, grew up on the outskirts of the city in the Capão Redondo neighborhood (Parque Santo Antonio), extreme south of São Paulo. Mano Brown never knew his father, but a publication revealed that his father had Italian origins. As for Dona Ana, Brown pays homage to her in her letters. In one of them, in Negro Drama, he says: "There, Dona Ana, without words, you are a queen!".
  • According to Vidaloka.net, Mano Brown started a solo career in 2016, releasing his first CD in December of the same year, called Boogie Naipe (same name as the label whose rapper and his wife are owners). His partner Lino Krizz participates in almost every song. His approach goes from soul to funk from the old days and his references are Marvin Gaye among other artists who played in black dances of the 70s and 80s.
  • Mano Brown is the author of songs such as "Vida Loka I", "Vida Loka II", "Negro Drama" (with Edi Rock), "A Vida é Desafio", "Jesus Cried", "Da Ponte pra Cá", "Chapter 4, Verse 3", "I'm Hearing Someone Calling Me", "Inmate's Diary", "Magic Formula of Peace", "Man on the Road", "Weekend at the Park" (with Edi Rock), "Mano Na Porta do Bar", "Negro Limite" (with Edi Rock), "Pânico na Zona Sul" and "Eu Sou 157".
  • In 2015, Mano Brown accepted a partnership with singer Naldo Benny to record together the song "Benny & Brown". The video was recorded at Capão Redondo and Complexo da Maré (where Naldo grew up), among other locations in both cities (Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo).
  • In 2016, Rolling Stone Brasil magazine elected Boogie Naipe as the 4th best Brazilian album of 2016. In 2017, the work was nominated for the 2017 Latin Grammy for Best Contemporary Pop Album in Portuguese Language.
