Her mother had moved to The Bronx, New York to attend Monroe University, while her husband arrived six months later. When she turned 5, Minaj was moved to Queens, New York, but then the family had a house on West 147th Street. In an interview Minaj recalled, “I don’t think there was too much discipline in my home.
