The committee pointed out that with the release of journalist Al-Taweel, 23 journalists remain in the occupation's prisons, including 7 journalists who are in administrative detention.

She stressed that the crimes committed by the occupation against the media are expected from the frameworks guarding freedom of the press, media, publishing and printing to pursue the Israeli authorities, and also require the implementation of UN Security Council Resolution (No. 2222), which guarantees the protection of journalists.
