مبيعات تسلا الأمريكية تتخطى التوقعات في الربع الثالث من 2021

The American automaker, Tesla, announced that it will deliver 241,300 electric cars during the third quarter of 2021, exceeding this number of car sales forecasts around the world in a short time.

The company said in a statement that it produced 237,823 cars in the last period on September 30, 2021, of which 228,882 of its Model 3 and Y cars were, which are mid-range offers with affordable prices for all, while the remaining quantity produced amounted to 8,941 cars from S and X models.

In the fourth quarter, Tesla delivered 201,250 vehicles and produced 206,421 vehicles, even as production of its Model S and X vehicles dropped below 2,500.

In its statement, the company emphasized that the number of its deliveries should be viewed as a bit conservative, as it only counts the car as delivered if it is transferred to the customer and all papers are correct.

Tesla is hiding delivery numbers for the model, and it does not report sales or production numbers from China versus the US, relying solely on that delivery is the closest approximation of the company's auto sales.

Tesla also plans to host the annual shareholder meeting at its plant, now under construction near Austin, on October 7, where former CEO Elon Musk threatened to move Tesla's headquarters from California in the spring of 2020 when the state's Covid-related health orders required Tesla's Fremont the plant to temporarily suspend operations for a few weeks.

Electric vehicle maker Elon Musk now produces cars at its Shanghai plant and US plant in Fremont, California, while continuing to produce batteries locally with Panasonic at its sprawling facilities outside of Reno, Nevada.
