Bale, who is in the final year of his contract with Real Madrid and played on loan at his former club Tottenham Hotspur last season, suffered this injury during training with the Spanish team last month, but doctors expected him to return in October. The 32-year-old was not included in Wales' 28-man squad for the matches on Oct. 8-11 but Page expected the captain to be fully recovered by November. "His hamstring injuries are on a grade four and he's near grade four so he's got a pretty serious tear," Page told reporters. "We are in constant contact with him and the medical team to follow up on his condition. Unfortunately, this camp came too early for his return." Bale has played 99 games for Wales and could enter the 100th club in November when they meet with Belarus and Belgium. Wales are third in Group E after four matches, tied on seven points with the Czech Republic, which has played a game more. Belgium leads the group with 16 points from six matches.
